Movie Alert: "The Purge: Anarchy"

Would you be able to survive a 12 hour time period where there are no laws in effect and everything from murder to robbery is considered legal? That’s the question that 2013′s The Purge presented to viewers and the sequel, The Purge: Anarchy, presses that question but this time, with new characters in more vulnerable predicaments.

The plot of the The Purge: Anarchy is pretty simple: Just like in the first film, there’s one night every year where for a 12 hour time period, all crime is legalized. Anything from murder, rape, robbery, theft, etc. is able to be committed without the criminals being penalized. A broken father sets out to get revenge from the deviant who murdered his son, but becomes compelled to help a mother and daughter who were taken from their home, along with a couple left stranded on the highway, in surviving the night.

The first film sent chills down my spine with it’s deranged antagonists and it’s near future time period, and I’ll probably be going to see The Purge: Anarchy just to scare myself and get my adrenaline pumping.
