Music Video: Dawn Richard - "Riot/Northern Lights"

It's been a year since R&B songbird and Danity Kane member Dawn Richard released her debut solo album Goldenheart, and the video for the singles "Riot" and "Northern Lights" has finally been released. The video was actually supposed to be released last year, but was put on hold due to Dawn and her production partner Drew Scott, unfortunately parting ways.

The video continues the story that Dawn set up in her previous video for her single "'86" and sees Dawn dancing and fighting her way through all that stand in the way of her goal. As expected, the choreography in the 7 and a half minute clip is on point and Dawn and her dancers kill it effortlessly.

“Dance is the narrator of this visual story,” Dawn said. “The fashion and image look this way because it is an ongoing story.”
