Lorde Covers "Rolling Stone" and Talks About Her Strength

2013 was a huge year for New Zealand native Lorde, and 2014 doesn't look like it'll be any different. The Grammy nominated teen singer is featured on the cover of the latest issue of Rolling Stone magazine showcasing her signature style, and inside of the issue, she discusses her nerves and strengths.

If you didn't know, Lorde takes control of her career and doesn't let others decide on what she should be doing and wearing. In the issue of Rolling Stone, Lorde talks about her strength as an artist and sticking to her guns: “I get paralyzingly nervous a lot of times, so I tried bravado,” Lorde said. “The way I dress and carry myself, a lot of people find it intimidating. I think my whole career can be boiled down to the one word I always say in meetings: strength.”

You'll be able to read the Lorde's full interview with Rolling Stone when it hits newsstands this Friday (January 17th).
