Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' "The Heist" Named iTunes Album of the Year

The incredible duo of Macklemore and Ryan Lewis have yet again landed another honor in the music world. Today, it was announced that iTunes named Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' album The Heist as Album of the Year.

The Heist has seen an incredible amount of success as it debuted #2 on the Billboard 200 Chart, #1 on Billboard's R&B/Hip-Hop Chart as well as #1 on Billboard's Top Rap Albums Chart. In addition to those great milestones, the album has been nominated for Album of the Year and Best Hip/Hop Album at the upcoming 56th Annual Grammy Awards.

Singles "Thrift Shop", "Same Love" (feat. Mary Lambert), and "Can't Hold Us" also generated an insane amount of success and critical acclaim.
