The surprise visual album is loaded with 14 tracks and 17 music videos, which sent the Beyhive into a buzzing frenzy on social media networks.
The album sold 617,000 copies through the week ending December 15th according to Neilsen Soundscan, which also marks her highest sales week since her album B'Day (541,000 copies). Beyoncé has also landed the fourth best sales week this year, clocking in behind Justin Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience (968,000), Eminem’s The Marshall Mathers LP 2 (792,000), and Drake’s Nothing Was the Same (658,000).
Physical copies of the album are currently being sold online and will be available in retail stores between Dec. 18th and the 20th.
