Katy Perry Tops Billboard 200 Chart with "Prism"

Being at the top is nothing new for Katy Perry. Her 2010 album Teenage Dream debuted atop the Billboard album chart (192,000 copies) and spawned five #1 singles; Katy has been on top of the world since then and she's still sitting pretty as her latest album Prism is making even bigger waves.

Katy Perry exceeded initial predictions that she would sell 270,000 copies of her latest album Prism in the first week and sold 286,000 copies. Her lead single "Roar" topped the Billboard 100 chart and the video has accumulated over 160 million views in less than two months.

Prism has bested Miley Cyrus' Bangerz first week sales (270,000) and has also bested Fifth Harmony and DJ Khaled's new albums.
