On the Rise: Bry'Nt

While there are a lot of hip-hop artists in the music industry right now, not all of them bring something different to the table. Bry'Nt is an openly gay rapper set on shattering the stereotypes that currently exist in hip-hop culture. He feels that an individuals sexual preference shouldn't condemn them or lower their chances of success in the industry, and I couldn't agree more.

The Hartford, Connecticut native began delving in music when he was younger and he, along with a few friends, created their own rap group called 3rd Degree. Bry'Nt worked on his craft and launched his solo music career in 2008 when he released his mixtapes entitled Porn Star and Porn Star II: The Directors Cut. Since then, Bry'Nt has been perfecting his music while simultaneously working on his modeling and film career.

Bry'Nt is already on the right track and has some big accomplishments under his belt including opening for artists such as Fantasia, Tweet, Teairra Marie, and RuPaul to name a few, in addition to being nominated for an OUTMusic Award.

With his clever lyrics and genuine hunger for success, Bry'Nt is a force to be reckoned with and plans on accomplishing even more and leaving his mark in music, fashion, and film.

Check out Bry'Nt's latest video for his track "Keep the Streets" feat. Ashlyne below. Be sure to keep up with Bry'Nt via Twitter, Facebook, & YouTube.
