It's hard to believe, but 2014 is already half way over. With that in mind,
Billboard has listed the 20 top streamed songs of 2014 so far, and when you get a look at the list, I'm sure you'll be expecting more than a few of the tracks that are named.
Katy Perry is in the lead with her Juicy J. assisted hit "Dark Horse", and John Legend, Jason Derulo, and Pharrell Williams follow. Combined, the top 10 tracks have been streamed 1.24 billion times, which is 7 percent less (81 million) than last year's numbers at this time. This is due largely in part to Baauer's "Harlem Shake" that took the internet by storm last year and earned 438 million streams from January to June of last year.
