Music Video: Foxes - "Glorious"

If you aren't having a glorious day, Foxes is ready to change that. Yesterday, the "Clarity" singer has released the music video for her latest single "Glorious" off of her album of the same name.

In the clip, we see Foxes in various areas of a country club surrounded by it's (seemingly) image obsessed members. This is the kind of country club that I'd definitely pass on joining - the narcissism seen by the club members is a bit much and kind of creepy.

Check out the video below.

Most Streamed Songs of 2014 So Far

It's hard to believe, but 2014 is already half way over. With that in mind, Billboard has listed the 20 top streamed songs of 2014 so far, and when you get a look at the list, I'm sure you'll be expecting more than a few of the tracks that are named.

Katy Perry is in the lead with her Juicy J. assisted hit "Dark Horse", and John Legend, Jason Derulo, and Pharrell Williams follow. Combined, the top 10 tracks have been streamed 1.24 billion times, which is 7 percent less (81 million) than last year's numbers at this time. This is due largely in part to Baauer's "Harlem Shake" that took the internet by storm last year and earned 438 million streams from January to June of last year.

Did your favorite song of the year make the list? Check out the top 20 most streamed songs of 2014 so far below and find out.

Little Mix Cancels US Leg of the "Salute Tour"

Bad news for US Little Mix fans - the ladies have announced that they won't be going through with the US leg of their Salute Tour.

In an official statement from their website, they stated:
"As a group we decided that creating an amazing 3rd album had to take priority. We're so sorry to all the Mixers who bought tickets to come and see the show. As soon as the album is finished, we promise to make plans to return to the US and perform for you all."
While I'm sure this 3rd album will be great like the first two, I'm honestly a little disappointed because I was looking forward to finally seeing Jesy, Perrie, Leigh-Anne, and Jade perform live for the first time. Like they said though, they'll be back, so us US fans will just have to be patient and wait.

In the meantime, check out their most recent music video for their single "Salute" below.

"Fast & Furious 7" Gets a 2015 Release Date

Universal Pictures has announced the official release date for the next installment of the "Fast & Furious" franchise. "Fast & Furious 7" is slated to be released on April 3rd, 2015

The film was pushed back from it's summer 2014 release date after the untimely and extremely unfortunate death of franchise star Paul Walker late last year. In addition to returning cast members like Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, and Dwayne Johnson, there will be new cast members including Kurt Russell and Jason Statham.

2 Annoying Slang Terms That Need to Go Away...Forever

See that face that Erica Mena's making in the above photo? That's the same face that I make whenever I hear certain slang terms being used - especially when they're used excessively. I see terms like "ratchet" and "THOT" being used all of the time on social media networks and saying that those terms are annoying is an understatement.

What Defines "Good" Music?

I constantly hear people saying that there isn't any "good" music out there nowadays, which got me thinking - what defines "good" music to people?

To me, "good" music is all based on someone's individual perception of a track, genre, or artist. One person could absolutely love Nicki Minaj's music, and another could think that her music is horrible. It's all about personal opinions.

I was browsing the web to see what some other people's opinions were on the matter, and came across a forum on Yahoo! Answers where people discussed the topic. Comments varied from people listing artists that they believe are good, to people who agreed with my logic - that it's all based on your own individual taste in music.

Of course, there will be those that criticize or bash your music taste if it isn't the same as theirs, but that doesn't mean that you're listening to "bad" music. It just isn't their cup of tea.

Let me give you an example of this from my own experiences. A few years ago, I was really into a girl group called Girlicious (still listen to them to this day) before they parted ways, and I can't tell you how many people said that their music was crappy. It didn't matter to me though -  I know why I liked their music and there are plenty of other people who also liked them.

At the end of the day, "good" music is simply what you as an individual find pleasing. If you like it, listen to it and don't feel ashamed.

What are your thoughts on the matter? Sound off in the comments section below.
